Profile Staffing, Inc., formerly named New Media Artists Agency, Inc., was founded in 1996 to address the needs of an emerging interactive market. As the first agency in New England to focus exclusively on placement of talent with skills in interactive media, Profile Staffing initially represented talent skilled in CDROM development and design. When the internet came along, our talent were the first to do commercial web work in Boston. We not only placed talent with our clients but farmed proposals from large clients to interactive studios, which often became a platform for their initial growth. The tight partnership which developed both as a result of our niche focus in interactive and the local geography has allowed us to develop trusted relationships with our clients and a deep pool of talent that we can recommend without reservation. It’s this partnership that also precipitated adding traditional media skilled talent to our offering. In renaming the company Profile Staffing we moved from new media only to representation of talent with skills across all channels of media- interactive and traditional- in order to best address the full media service requests of our clients. Our ability to anticipate and react effectively to new trends and changes in the technology market enables us to stay abreast of the strategic needs of our clients.
